The platform where fleet data becomes a decision

The Fleet Management System is where positions, journeys and alerts from ETIT-120 and other tracking devices are turned into maps, reports and workflows that fleet managers use every day.

  • Live tracking
  • Role-based access
  • Exception alerts
  • Historical reporting

Purpose

A working system, not a dashboard demo

Tracking devices only create value once someone can act on what they report. FMS is built around the daily tasks of dispatchers, fleet managers and administrators rather than a single map view.

FMS consolidates data from ETIT-120 and other devices into a single operational picture: live position, journey history, driver behaviour indicators and exception alerts, accessible according to each user's role within the organisation.

It is administered by ETIT alongside the hardware it runs on, so a fault, a reporting gap or a configuration change is handled by the same team rather than passed between separate hardware and software suppliers.

  • Fleet managers

Users who need a live and historical view of vehicle activity across the fleet.

  • Dispatch and operations teams

Staff coordinating routes and responding to exceptions as they occur.

  • Administrators

Users managing accounts, vehicle records, roles and access across the organisation.

Where FMS is used

Operational tasks the platform is built around

Each of these tasks is something a fleet team does routinely, not an occasional report run once a quarter.

  • 01

    Live fleet visibility

Seeing where every tracked vehicle is right now, without calling drivers to ask.

  • 02

    Exception handling

Responding to alerts such as unscheduled stops, route deviation or unauthorised use.

  • 03

    Utilisation reporting

Reviewing distance, idle time and route efficiency across a period.

Capabilities

What the platform provides

Described functionally, reflecting what fleet administrators actually configure and use.

  • 01

    Live and historical tracking

Current position and full journey history for every device connected to the account.

  • 02

    Alerts and exceptions

Configurable notifications for events such as geofence breaches or extended stops.

  • 03

    Reporting

Utilisation, journey and fuel-related reports built from the underlying device data.

  • 04

    Role-based access

Access scoped by role, so drivers, supervisors and administrators see what is relevant to them.

  • 05

    Fleet administration

Management of vehicles, devices, users and organisational structure within the platform.

  • 06

    Data export and integration

Data made available for use in other systems through ETIT's system integration service.

Day to day

How teams use FMS once it is live

The platform is designed around the routines of the people who log in most.

  • Dispatch view

A live map and status list used to coordinate vehicles through the working day.

  • Manager reporting

Scheduled and on-demand reports covering utilisation, incidents and driver activity.

  • Administrator console

Configuration of users, roles, vehicles and alert rules for the account.

  • Support access

ETIT's support team can access account-level diagnostics when a fault is reported.

Integration

FMS as part of a wider system

FMS is rarely the only system a fleet operator runs, so it is built to connect rather than sit apart.

FMS receives data from ETIT-120 and other supported devices and exposes it through reporting and, where agreed, integration points that let other business systems draw on the same information.

Organisations running ERP, HR or finance platforms can work with ETIT's system integration service to connect fleet data to cost allocation, maintenance scheduling or payroll workflows.

  • Receives data from ETIT-120 and other catalogue devices
  • Accessible to drivers and supervisors through ETIT2GO
  • Can be connected to ERP, HR and finance systems
  • Administered and supported directly by ETIT
