How support works
One team across installation, hotline and platform
Support at ETIT is delivered by the same functions that design and install a programme, so the person handling a call has visibility of how the underlying system was built.
Most support requests fall into one of four categories: a physical installation or maintenance need, a hotline enquiry about a vehicle or device, a platform access or account issue, or a question about the vehicle tracking legalisation process. Each has its own page with the detail relevant to it, rather than a single generic contact form.
Requests that do not fit cleanly into one of those categories — a new programme enquiry, a partnership question or anything commercial — are handled through the main contact page instead, so genuinely urgent operational issues are not queued behind sales enquiries.
Response approach
How requests are triaged
The approach below applies across hotline, platform and installation-related requests.
01
Log
The request is recorded against the relevant vehicle, site or account so context is not lost between contacts.
02
Assess
The team establishes whether the issue can be resolved immediately, needs a site visit, or needs to be routed to a specialist function.
03
Act
Straightforward issues are resolved on the call or session. Others are scheduled — an installation visit, a platform investigation or an escalation.
04
Confirm
The requester is told what was done and, where relevant, what to expect next and by when to expect it.
Escalation
When a request needs to go further
Not every issue can be closed on first contact. Escalation exists so unresolved requests do not simply sit unattended.
If a hotline agent cannot resolve a request directly, it is passed to the relevant specialist function — network operations, platform engineering or the installation network — with the context already logged. If a customer feels a request has stalled, referencing the original enquiry when following up through the contact page or hotline helps the team pick it up without starting again from scratch.
